SOME KIND OF OPINION

Blessed Be! I Really (HEART) NY!

Perhaps having perfectly wonderful weather in NYC for like a week does things to one's psyche. I say this because in my 12 years here I haven't really had a week of weather that I truly enjoyed -- sure there have been moments..a few days in a row here and there. But a whole week? No. Never. That has not happened until now. Plus, even when it's warm in the summer they have the train air-conditioning on to the Frigid setting making me feel like I am still in winter --except that I am not dressed for it! This current little bout of spring-like-conditions mixed with room temperature trains? I think it's causing me to hallucinate that I Heart NY like never before! Check out these 10 little co-inky-dinks:

For 1.) I've been in a perfect mood -- not even a hint of bitchiness. (Ok well I have been bitching just an itsy bit about the Red Hair incident -- but really only as a recap for those late to the program -- it's by no means a new bitch) This, of course, makes my blogging a bit staid, I agree. But none the less it is entertaining.

2.) I just discovered So Delicious Coconut Milk which is a wonderful substitute for soy and rice and cow's milk. I love this idea... it helping me keep my svelte, glowing figure and all. And it's under $5.

3.) My secret little sister (she doesn't know she's my little sister YET!) has been at it again over on her blog which is right here. This gal is simply as smart as a Whippet! (The fact that she is as tiny as a Whippet having not-a-thing to do with it of course!) I adore her! I totally want to take her out for lavender coconut ice cream with sprinkles, and soon!

4.) I saw Alice in Wonderland and loved it - even though I think that they need more 3-d effects because there were only a few (ok I didn't see the Imax).

5.) I secured Free Tix to a movie I know I wouldn't pay for otherwise. This is exactly like having free cable TV except that you can get the best popcorn to go with!

6.) My newest adventure in showbiz, The Lady Dames, had its first rehearsal and all the gals not only showed up but are just perfectly fun and fancy free! I can't wait for you all to come to our debut in MAY! PUT US ON YOUR CALENDAR NOW! (Not sure the date but just save every THU, FRI, SAT & SUN just in case!)

7.) I have an upcoming audition for a dance company I actually like and respect -- MOMIX! PLUS, I am qualified as all can be to get this! I know I can do his work and would have a blast besides! Really I love this company -- mainly because I wouldn't at all be embarrassed for my family -- who are die hard country folk -- to see it! The Director is smart -- and truly creative -- and interested in creating dances that an audience would really enjoy! AND he and his wife live in an un-restored Victorian Mansion in CT....with flowers and a real garden! And I think we would even rehearse there -- Does this get any better? (Yes! It will get better on Sunday after I've been hired! (Fingers Crossed, Wink, Blink, Nod, Smile, Click My Heels, Deals with the Gods, Jesus, The Devil & Mary!)

8.) My hair is getting lots of compliments even though it's very goth fairy!

9.) My cat, Paris Kitty, the useless celebri-cat that she is, has been doting on me with lap naps and purrs all damn week. What has gotten into this feline? Has she lost her mind? Perhaps. Or perhaps she senses my absolute decision to secure a puppy as soon as I have a stable income (as in Next Week after I get this amazing Dance Job!)

10.) I have blogged for the day, gotten my to-do's done, had my late night snack and it's only 11:35 pm -- exactly 4 hours before I normally feel ready for sleep -- but here I go in just a few moments -- off to bed! A miracle!

This weather is surely getting to me. I (SUPER DUPER HEART) NY!

Aren't ya glad you know all this?

Sure you are!

SMOOCHES & SWEET DREAMS!

Madame B.
