It was a swell of a sweet day indeed! The Diane Von Furstenburg show was the highlight of my day -- being a lucky little bitch to secure myself a seat! Indeed, it seems Diane has 1000 Watt Star Power -- bringing every A-Lister imaginable into the Tent! Tim Gunn was sitting in the front row facing me -- ever clear in his pin stripe suiting! He looked bedazzled with the show and I of course can't blame him! With over 40 looks the show was a literal migration of leggy models -- and not one slip! For the finale, Lady Diane herself took a walk on the long u-shaped runway -- looking as beautiful as ever with roses, children and gent in hand! It was a beauty of an event and indeed I AM SMITTEN with Lady D.!
For the evening I was seated at another designer's event which came off a bit drag -- as in drag queen! Mind you it wasn't a total nightmare, but it was a bit Super Hero and Conceptual! I'll reveal the natty details tomorrow when I secure some time to flesh it all out!
My Funny Valentine's Outfit: Hearts Jumper Dress with tiny hearts all over, Burgundy Tights, Oxblood button up shirt, favorite Valentines scarf with my Gold and Diamond Queen Bee pin and Black fur vest -- and of course my Cookie Monster Blue Fur Top Coat and nerdy journalist glasses, with Patent Leather Oxford heels! Yes! I was done up!
2nd Highlight of the Day: Goddess Lynne Yaeger asked to take my picture with her friend's bunny bear! FUN!; I was interviewed for a St. Louis Missouri Station on Camera!; I met the Creative Director from a collective of designers from Antwerp showing tomorrow at the times building -- and she invited me to go!
You know the motto by now: MORE TO COME-- that's because with all the excitement and back to back events, I can barely find time to write in more detail! I promise HUGS N KISSES LOVE LOVE LOVE it's all coming! Please don't give up!
